About Church of God’s Love (COG7) in Tauranga, New Zealand
The church started here in Tauranga, NZ in late 2016 after David and Angella Kidd moved from Adelaide. They have been Church Of God (7th day) (COG7) members since 1992. Given these roots and various commonly held beliefs with COG7 they continue to share in the Church’s mission (the mission of all Christians) to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded.
David Kidd (Pastor) was born in Tauranga, New Zealand. He served as an Elder in COG7 in Adelaide, Australia for about 20 years. He holds a Certificate of Biblical Studies from LifeSpring School of Ministry and continues studying God’s Word. He has written several short Christian books which appear on this site. He writes law books for a living and is now enjoying ministering from Tauranga in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
Every person is unique and to be greatly valued, having much to offer. David believes his role in the church is as an equipper. He will seek to encourage all in the church to use the gifts and abilities God has blessed them with in wholeheartedly sharing the love of God with others. If your heart desires to minister to the needs of others, this church will help equip you with prayer, guidance, support, training and resources. Ultimately, to be equipped is to be molded into the image of Jesus Christ as there was none so equipped as Him to minister to the needs of others.
Angella Kidd was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica and has been born again since about 1992. She loves the Lord and especially enjoys praise and worship. Her greatest passion in the Lord’s ministry is guiding children into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She has experience in children’s ministry in Jamaica, Australia, and Ghana. Your children will be lovingly nurtured and greatly blessed under Angella’s God-given ministry.

The book Countdown to Faith Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah), which is on this site, has been modified with Jews/Israelites in mind. We would like to promote it to Jews and find Christians on the ground in Israel who we could freely supply it in print or electronic form in their ministry to Jews/Israelites)

The free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ through faith and grace alone is certainly good news.
If you are looking for a church to attend in Tauranga where this unlimited good news for all is fervently preached and where the Bible alone is our infallible source please come along and be part of this gospel work. We are not the same denomination as the Seventh Day Adventists (SDAs). However, we have some important things in common and some who attend our services have an SDA background.
We love to serve in the community and are keen for more labourers to join us in the great gospel harvest.
